Review of The Burger & Brownie Company #TaylorMadeTop5

Back for Burgers & Brownies.

This week we were excited to hear about the opening of a new Burger restaurant in Worthing called The Burger & Brownie Company so we headed there on the grand opening day to sample the goods.

If you have read this blog you will know that we love two things; burgers and cake. Combining these two things on the same menu as the theme for a restaurant is obviously pure genius so we had to visit and see what was on offer.

Set the Mood.

The restaurant is set on Stanford Square, just off Warwick street nestled in amongst the other nice restaurants and cool shops that occupy the street, so the centre of town location is perfect.

It has a very minimalist and basic feel to it with a clean, white colour theme which works really well.

The business is run by Rhys and David who between them have over 50 years experience in the catering industry so they sure know their onions. You may recognise them from their other venture Bearded Bakers which is a catering company and mobile bakery based at Homefield Park in Worthing.

Rhys & the team.

The Burger & Brownie Company’s unique selling point is that it is primarily a takeaway restaurant; there are a couple of tables to sit down at but the aim of the game is to grab your burger and go.

We were in town early so decided to settle for Brownies and coffee rather than a Burger.

Pick Me Up.

The coffee and Brownie combo was the perfect pick me up and with a menu of Brownie flavours to choose from we were in our element!

The menu.

The coffee is locally sourced from Arundel based coffee roasters Edgcumbes and really hit the spot.

The Brownies were baked to perfection and came with a generous dollop of ice cream. Top marks for presentation too as they looked amazing.

Hmmmm Brownies!

I went for the Salted Caramel Brownie and Lorna chose the White Chocolate Blondie.

If you can get a seat in the restaurant the glass front is ideal to keep little ones occupied and LT had a great time watching what was going on in the restaurant opposite.

LT got on with some serious colouring in.

There is tons of space inside to park and maneuver buggies about so all in all The Burger & Brownie Company is very child-friendly. Being a takeaway set up is also ideal as every parent of young children knows that opportunities to go out for dinner are few and far between so being able to enjoy the food at home after a takeaway run is perfect.

Tuck in!

The Verdict.

We are definite fans of The Burger and Brownie Company; they are an independent business using locally sourced produce to bring a Burger and Brownie combination take away to Worthing; what’s not to love?

Rhys and his team are super friendly and made us feel very welcome.

I feel that we would be cheating them to write this review without trying the burgers so we have a lunch trip planned for this weekend to go back and check them out!

For child friendliness and overall quality, we give The Burger and Brownie Company a 9 out of 10 putting them in the top rankings on this review series.

Keep your eyes out for an update on our burger findings!

Until next time…..

Be excellent to each other.

The Taylors xx

Please note we have not been bribed with Burgers & Brownies to write this post or compensated in any way; we did it for the love y’all!
